Rural touring: Chimacum & Friday Harbor

Things like this were a part of my career vision as an author, and I have arrived among the further removed places where people book science fiction & fantasy, sort of just squeezing in with permission.

First was the 1st Annual Fall Book Fair at the Finnriver farm in Chimacum, WA. I brought some special handmade extras, and enjoyed the beautiful cidery setting.

And in the home base of Friday Harbor WA, I was given the okay to set up a little book promo talking table while volunteering for the Island Artisans Holiday Market.

New Book 2 & AwesomeCon

I’m at AwesomeCon DC! And, the cover is again fixed for Bones of Starlight 2: Abyss Surrounding, so the trilogy set is again sleek & en flique featuring the art of calligraffiti artist Leo Shallat @leo.shallat . So ended the temporary pixelated rasterized Book 2: Kao-Sidhe technoglitch edition.

Order the new & sparkling 2, plus 1 & 3, at your pleasure via your favorite bookseller.

I’m at table I-26, holding down a central corner of Pride Alley this year. Hello again, nation’s capital!

AwesomeCon’d

It was a mighty weekend. So good talking story with readers, writers, and all imagineers!

This also happened to happen twice! Simu Liu Shang-Chi energy!

Psylocke was also seen vibing in the direction of the Supreme Court. Looks like she’d like to give them a piece of her mind.

Atlanta & Beyond

There were some really neat reader and fan experiences to be found at Fandemic Dead in Atlanta, many thanks for the invitation.

And look who’s been seeing this trilogy author here and there! Grogu and his Mandalorian guardian taking an interest; Guy Gilchrist, a creator of Muppet Babies from my youth; and not one, but two Sandman artists, Glenn Fabry & director David Mack. Yes, I am hanging out at La Mole 25 in Mexico City.

Plus, this amazing greeting occurred with THE Cary Elwes. We had ourselves a pandemic-style fistbump.
